The Sales and Recreation Centers have a combined area in excess of 100,000sf. The building serves as the recreation, administrative and sales center for the new Del Webb Sun City residential community development. The Recreation Center houses a full size swimming pool, running track, exercise rooms, arts and crafts rooms, a full banquet facility, restaurant and bar, and a golf pro shop with below grade cart storage. The building is a long, linear one story structure. Major design elements include extensive use of glass fenestration, skylights and a complex hip/gable roof system to maintain its residential character while serving as a focal point of the entire development.
