The proposed structure will be a new
three story religious facility for the Jewish Reconstructionist
Congregation to replace the existing building. The building has a total
floor area of approximately 31,000 sf. The structural system will be a
steel frame with composite deck floors. The building will be entirely
above grade, and will be built over the footprint of the existing JRC
facility which will be demolished. Due to inadequacies in the
soil, the building will bear on grade beams and caissons. |
