The Cooper Southbank

The Cooper Southbank is the first of a ten building development called Riverline, on South Wells Street in Chicago.
The building is a 30-story mixed-use high-rise. It has a 6-story podium plus a 24-story tower. The podium is approximately 202,800 sf, and the tower is approximately 346,500 sf, for a total building area of 549,300 gsf. The structure is 7 ½” post-tensioned slabs, with concrete columns and shear walls. The foundations are belled caissons extending 70 to 80 feet below grade. The podium contains parking and retail, with building amenities on the podium roof, including an outdoor pool. The tower contains 452 apartments.
