A two story office building housing computer equipment and offices dedicated to the design of telephone system components. The main construction system is composite metal deck slabs on a steel frame. The lateral force resisting system utilizes a series of moment frames predicated by an open-floor layout and strip windows along the exterior elevations. The building is clad with a masonry veneer on metal studs. Unique design elements include two large clerestories for natural light, a complex, cantilevered mansard roof framing system and three story exterior “fin” walls.
